The first nineholes, that are part of a projectfor 18, were opened in the Springof 2005. When you arrive you willfind a perfectly level course,thanks to the unexpectedly flatground between the Sansobbia riverand the Erchi hills. The moundsare carefully placed exceptionscreated by the architect-designerGraham Cooke, and provide pleasantundulations that divide the holes.The mounds give some very unpleasantlies. The ground is very well drainedand guarantees perfect playabilityeven after a storm. The use of “cultivarbermuda tifway 419” on thefairways ensures a perfect lieand excellent water savings. Thegreens measure around 500 squaremetres each and have slopes thatdon’t guarantee a Par evenif you got there with the rightnumber of shots. The north windthat guarantees sunlight for 300days a year will force you to learnhow to move the ball. The breeze,that is typical of the clementweather, will favour a summer game.
